will help to establish your level of English, identify the areas you need to concentrate upon most and review your progress.

will be monitored throughout the course and your teacher will help you to achieve your goals.
A lot of attention is given to grammatical correction and vocabulary development. The course covers the different forms of writing tested in the exam, practises various reading techniques and also hones in on listening and speaking skills.
We use past exam papers and highly recommended coursebooks to prepare you for the exam. You will receive exam tips from your teacher, acquiring many transferable skills and useful exam techniques.
During the course you will take many mini-tests, exams and at least one full Cambridge B2 First mock exam to give you an idea of what to expect on exam day.
Your teacher will give you lots of individual attention, feedback and advice on how to improve your English skills and get ready for your exam.
Your teacher will give you regular homework, and doing this regularly will help you identify the areas of English language you need to improve.

You need to show that you are able to deal confidently with different types of text such as fiction, newspapers and magazines. It tests your use of English with tasks that show how well you know your grammar and vocabulary.
You will need to be to be able to produce two different pieces of writing, including letters, reports, reviews and essays.
You will need to show that you able to follow and understand a range of spoken materials such as news programmes, presentations and everyday conversations.
You will take the Speaking test with one or two other candidates and you will be required to demonstrate different types of speaking in discussion with other candidates.
